Established on Earth Day in 2014, the Electric Vehicle Association of Alberta (EVAA) is dedicated to spreading awareness, instilling excitement, and promoting the adoption of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure across Alberta.

While our Facebook group has grown to become one of the largest regionally-focused online communities in this sector, we are more than just a social media presence. Elevating our commitment to this cause, we became an official nonprofit organization in 2019. This status not only formalizes our endeavors but also allows us to collaborate more effectively with governmental agencies, secure funding, and ensure that all resources are channeled directly into initiatives that support our mission.

While our digital presence remains a critical touchpoint for education and community-building, we understand the irreplaceable value of in-person interactions. To this end, we actively engage with citizens, governmental bodies, and industry stakeholders.
